Points West Living - Heritage House
Welcome to Points West Living Heritage House, in Vegreville! When it opened in 2000, Heritage House was one of the first residences created by Points West Living with its fresh vision of providing hospitality-focused service to supportive living residents. With the 2017 opening of a brand new 36-unit independent supportive living residence right next door, and updated furniture throughout, Heritage House is an attractive and growing community.
The established section of Heritage House is bright and spacious with lots of activities. Our residents love the recreation opportunities, with music, art, visiting students and performers, and bingo. Flowers and vegetables, donated and cared for by residents, grow in profusion in summer months.
There’s a real community spirit here. We have a tireless Resident Council, working to enhance the lives of residents. Residents and visitors often comment on how pleasant and friendly our care partners are. We enjoy each other’s company.
Heritage House is dedicated to the Eden Alternative model of care, which promotes maximum independence, choice and dignity for each resident and encourages the involvement of family, neighbours and friends. Residents bring their belongings including some furnishing, and may keep their small pets in their suites.
