Remembrance Day service is appreciated by
full house at PWL Stettler

Nov 22nd, 2017

Points West Living Stettler held its Remembrance Day service on Friday, November 10. It included the traditional March of Colours, the Last Post, two minutes of silence, an Invocation and Lesson by Pastor Ross Helgeton, recitation of In Flanders Fields, and a wreath-laying ceremony at a representative cenotaph.

Residents, family members, and care partners filled the dining hall and said they found the service moving and lovely.

Photo: Ray Cerniuk, PWL Stettler’s maintenance care partner, organized the service, led the ceremony, and recited In Flanders Fields. Ray served in the Canadian Armed Forces from 1967 to 1989.
