Mothers’ Day Tea celebrates the women
of PWL Slave Lake

May 24th, 2018

Points West Living Slave Lake held a Mothers’ Day Tea and Luncheon on Friday May 11. Women residents each got to invite any two guests to join them. The women and their guests enjoyed delicious food, beautiful flowers, and great entertainment.

Community members brought in china teacups and saucers for the tea, and PWL Slave Lake’s maintenance man, Greg Lacome entertained guests with his guitar playing and singing. Bouquets of carnations added fragrance and beauty to each table. When the luncheon was over, each resident received one of the carnations to take home.

What were the gentlemen residents doing while the women and their guests enjoyed the party? Well, they made good their retreat to an upstairs dining room to enjoy a lunch of their own hosted by Recreation Therapist, Hannah Kaup.
