Residents and friends welcome summer
with a sunny day ice cream sundae

June 26th, 2018

The first day of summer provided perfect weather as Points West Living Red Deer welcomed summer with a ‘build your own ice cream sundae’ event. Residents, family members, care partners and children from the on-site daycare, all gathered and mingled together as they savoured their yummy creations.

"What better way to celebrate the first day of summer"

“It was such a beautiful afternoon that we went into our lovely courtyards,” says recreation coordinator Barb Morris. “What better way to celebrate the first day of summer? It was such a fabulous time that residents mentioned we should have these events all the time.” And Barb assured them that’s exactly what she’s planning.
