PWL Wainwright residents enjoy a perfect
summer evening campfire treat
July 11th, 2018
Residents at Points West Living Wainwright took advantage of one of the longest days of the year to have an evening campfire and s’mores. “It was June 27,” says recreation coordinator Shauna Lee Carlson, “and after a perfectly lovely day, we gathered around our backyard fire pit for a visit and s'mores.”
“One of the residents brought an iPad with some music,” Shauna Lee says, “so we enjoyed listening, and watched until the coals were just right. Then we baked some foil packets of graham wafers, marshmallows, and Jersey Milk chocolate squares until they were just the right gooeyness.”
“There was reminiscing, laughter and lots of chatting going on while we sat around the fire. It was an enjoyable way to spend a summer evening. We're all looking forward to the next campfire.”
