Residents enjoy loving interaction with furry
friends at Lloydminster Dog Show

October 5th, 2018

Several residents from Points West Living Lloydminster took in the 31st annual Dog Show put on by the Lloydminster Kennel and Obedience Club on September 28. They were able mingle with friendly owners and dogs, and to watch many breeds of dogs strut their stuff, and come by for a tail-wagging bit of love.

All animal lovers

Kennel club members regularly come by PWL Lloydminster to give animal lovers some doggie time, and invited residents to come to the show. Residents were pleased to see some of their favourite pooches there as well as to make some new doggie friends. “The residents who took part are all animal lovers, and have had dogs in their lives,” says Karly Macdonald, the Recreation Therapist who accompanied the group to the show. “There was very loving interaction between residents and the animals at the show.”

Sweetest pup

One of the sweetest pups they met was Charlie, a cocker spaniel (in photo above). “He’s just a pup and is really really friendly,” says Karly. “I wish we could have Charlie visit us at PWL, but the owners are not from the area.”
