Bowling for laughter and gutter balls;
residents enjoy a lighthearted outing

October 22nd, 2018

Residents of Points West Living Lloydminster enjoyed an outing to Lloyd Lanes, Lloydminster’s ‘newest bowling alley’ on October 15. The excursion was a great success, “with many laughs and gutter balls,” according to Recreation Therapist Karly MacDonald.

Great time

“We had a great time,” says Karly (centre front in photo above). “Coming in first was care partner (Recreation aide/HCA) Rhoda Mendoza with score of 100.”

Seven strikes in a row

“In second place was Norbert Koch with 92 points,” Karly adds. “Norbert (striped shirt in photo above) was an avid bowler in his earlier years. He told us a story of one local tournament where he got seven strikes in a row and won a Coke cooler!”
