Athens Creek holds heart-y breakfast fundraiser

February 21st, 2019

Over the past decade, residents of Points West Living Athens Creek in Penticton have held a fundraising breakfast for the Heart & Stroke Foundation, and the 2019 version was a heartwarming success.

Residents raise $760

An internal event within the Athens Creek community, the breakfast fundraiser ran from 8:30-10am on February 6, and generated $760 for the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

How would you like your eggs?

The breakfast menu was created and cooked by Chef Alex Kuzemchuk (Food Services Supervisor), and included four different egg casserole dishes: Cheesy scrambled eggs; egg, ham & cheese; ham & cheese baked fritta with potatoes and topped with salsa.
