Heritage Heights welcomes Vegreville community to wine and cheese

April 19th, 2019

A wine and cheese reception with art exhibition was held on April 5 at Points West Living Heritage House to showcase Heritage Heights, Vegreville’s newest Independent Supportive Living development. Visitors were pleased to mingle in the new main floor lounge and to explore the spacious new suites the complex has to offer.

Classy atsmosphere

The evening was organized by Points West Living’s marketing coordinator Franco Matina. “I wanted to convey that we are different from other retirement communities,” Franco says. “People really liked the classy atmosphere of the event, with the fireplace, the classical piano music, the complimentary wine and cheese, and the artwork on display. It was a beautiful evening.” The wine was chosen and provided by Liquor Den in Vegreville; the cheese by Old School Cheesery, and the art by the Vegreville Visual Artists group.

No bachelor suites

Franco and his team spent much of the evening taking many of the 60 visitors on tours of the building. “Visitors enjoyed seeing inside the suites, including our two-bedroom show-suite,” says Franco. “They were blown away by the size of the rooms and that there are no bachelor suites. They also viewed common spaces, including the large second floor deck which is above the lounge and outdoor patio area.”

Heritage Heights is a 3-level, 36-suite independent supportive living complex, which is connected by a hallway to Heritage House and all of its amenities. Each suite is fitted with fridge, stove, dishwasher, and stackable washer and dryer sets. Heritage Heights suites include:
• 27 one-bedroom units (9 per floor)
• 3 one-bedroom-plus-den units (1 per floor)
• 6 two-bedroom units (2 per floor)
