Looking for eggs in all possible places

April 23rd, 2019

How do you find eggs in a venue with thousands of hiding places? With a little help from your friends. The recreation team at Points West Living Lloydminster hid over 400 eggs all over the community for care partners’ children and their friends to search out in an ‘egg-tastic’ Easter egg hunt on Saturday April 20.

Goodies and surprises

The children each carried a collecting basket, bag or bucket as they sought out the brightly coloured plastic eggs. The eggs were filled with goodies and surprises, and the little ones could barely wait to eat the treats inside.

Helping in the search

“Residents lit up with joy to see all of the children collecting the eggs,” says Recreation Therapist Karly MacDonald, “and they helped them find some of the ones in trickier hiding places.”

Hatching memories

“Seeing the eggs hidden all over the community brought back many memories for our residents,” says Karly. “We all shared stories of what we did for our children and grandchildren over this special holiday.”
