Children and seniors embark on cultural exploration at PWL Wainwright

October 1st, 2019

Residents at Points West Living Wainwright have been enjoying some joint explorations with visitors from the Wainwright Child Care Centre. Thanks to employee care partners, they recently learned a lot about Philippine culture through food, dance and stories.

Visiting with them brings us great joy

Earlier this year the children enjoyed an English Tea with their friends from PWL Wainwright. They had cucumber ‘sandwiches’ and iced tea in fine china.

“We have all enjoyed the opportunities to get together with the children from the care centre,” says recreation coordinator Shauna Lee Carlson. “We love the energy they bring into the building, and of course visiting with them brings us great joy. I am thankful that the centre thinks of us when they plan their activities. It is fun for us to plan events that are meaningful to all generations.”
