Residents create bright and beautiful vases

March 5th, 2021

A couple of Points West Living Slave Lake residents enjoyed an afternoon of crafting recently, thanks to the donation of glass milk bottles, a few cans of oil-based spray paint, a box of embellishments, and some silk flowers. The residents decorated their very own milk bottle vases.

A vase to brighten their rooms

Linda Cooper and Beatrice Cryderman were delighted to enjoy a coffee and set up their personal creation - a vase to brighten up their rooms during the winter months,” says Recreation Therapist, Bobbi-Jo Grover-Emes. “Giant snowflakes were drifting down outside and conversation flowed as Bea and Linda crafted the afternoon away. The fun visit was ended with some self care and nail painting.”
