Halloween brings out great costumes at PWL Peace River

November 22nd, 2021

Residents and employee care partners alike lit up the Halloween party at Points West Living Peace River on October 29. They donned wild and whimsical costumes, played games and feasted on sweet and ghoulish treats.

Awesome costumes

“We gathered in the main dining room to take part in games and snacks,” says recreation coordinator Cathy Mika, who made spooky cupcakes for the occasion. “Residents were dressed as hula dancers, a cat, and a peanut butter and jelly duo (and, of course the Virgin Queen, Elizabeth I). Employee care partners’ costumes included a hotdog, pirate, devils, red riding hood, and a Greek goddess.”

Little trick-or-treaters

On October 31 family members came by with some little trick-or-treaters, including General Manager Maegan Smith and her little ones, and resident Ben Wright’s little niece who was dressed as a skunk.
