Familiar Faces, New Roles

November 26th, 2014

Points West Living Wainwright has promoted two of its own into top leadership positions. Congratulations to Shannon Pugh (left) who has been promoted from “interim GM” to General Manager; and to Jophen Borromeo (right) to PWL Wainwright’s Wellness Manager.

Shannon was born and raised in Wainwright and is very active in her community; and she brings her trademark enthusiasm to her new position. For more on Shannon, read this July 14 article announcing her appointment as interim GM.

Jophen “Jo” Boromeo has been working as an LPN at Points West Living Wainwright since 2012. Originally from the Philippines, Jo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and worked as a medical representative for 18 years, while working on her nursing degree. In 2008, she moved to Canada and became certified as an LPN in 2010.

Jophen loves to teach, recently taking real joy in tutoring for the Healthcare Aid workplace program as the on-site educator. In her new role, Jo will be devoted almost full time to staff education. She will continue to serve in the LPN role every Thursday, as she say, “to keep up on my skills and have hands-on care with the residents.”
