Tea, treats, flowers, and a pint sized rodeo show
make for an eventful Mothers' Day

May 19th, 2017

Mothers’ Day was celebrated with a special Tea Party at Points West Living Cold Lake this year. Each resident received flowers and gifts, and everyone enjoyed visiting with family and friends over tea and treats. Pint sized entertainment was also on offer.

Tea and Treats

Residents sat with family and friends and enjoyed tea with sweet treats and fruit. Each resident received a tall ceramic mug with an encouraging message handwritten on it. In each mug was a paper tulip, specially made the previous Friday by Grade 5 students from Cold Lake Middle School.

Flowers

Scott Cyr, MLA representing Bonnyville and Cold Lake, visited during the tea and personally handed each resident a lovely rose.

Pint sized rodeo

Recreation coordinator Angela Benoit’s two young children provided the entertainment. She reports, “Our two special guests, Miss Jayla and Cowboy “Action” Jackson Benoit, put on a rodeo show: Rockin’ Stompin’ Bull Riding entertainment!” Angela adds, “Lots of laughs and giggles were had by all.”
