Sweet Mothers' Day flower delivery
brings smiles to residents

May 22nd, 2017

He may be little, but when Jack Oostvogel comes to visit residents at Points West Living Peace River, he leaves a big impact. The four-year-old dropped by with his parents on Mothers’ Day bearing bunches of flowers and lots of good will.

Flower cheer

Jack approached each lady with a flower, wished her a Happy Mothers’ Day, and presented her with the flower. When the recipient thanked Jack, he replied, “You’re welcome,” and moved on.

Jack has brought his flower cheer to PWL Peace River before, at Easter, when he gave each resident a flower.

Appreciation, honour and respect

Ashley & Mathew Oostvogel guide their son in this act of kindness, saying they feel that it teaches Jack to appreciate, honour, and respect seniors.
