Lots of home shopping at annual craft event

December 13th, 2021

After a taking a break last year due to COVID, a longstanding tradition at Points West Living Moose Jaw was back again this year. The community’s sixth ‘annual’ December Craft Sale was held December 2nd, and residents were able to check many gift purchases off their Christmas lists, all from the comfort of their own home.

Cheese, soaps, signs and more...

With a total of 16 vendors, here were a lot of goods to choose from, much of it produced locally. Throughout the early afternoon event, residents and employee care partners took their time browsing among the displays. Items for sale included fresh local artisan cheeses; Suetopia handmade soaps and lotions; aprons, baby blankets, and other handcrafted items from Gloria’s Odds & Ends; gift baskets by Rhonda; home-crafted signs; Fifth Avenue jewelry; Watkins personal care products; Avon, Tupperware; Norwex; bamboo bedding; Mary Kay; and more.

"We had a wonderful day..."

“We had a wonderful day for our craft sale,” says office administrator Charlene Mack. “Our residents were busy making last minute gift purchases, and of course picking up a few things for themselves.”
