Studies in Shamrocks

March 21st, 2022

Residents at Points West Living Stettler got into the St. Patrick's Day spirit by painting shamrock canvases. They used tape on the canvas so every painting was unique. Some chose to stick with traditional shades of green, while others did a rainbow of colours. One resident stuck to her favourite colour, blue.

Amazing results

“We had music playing and some student Health Care Aides helping,” says recreation coordinator, Deidre Northrop. “At first, a few of the residents thought their paintings looked horrible. But once the paint had dried and we peeled off the tape, they were amazed to see such intricate lines and beautiful paintings. One resident even asked to mail her painting to her granddaughter.”
