A Monster Mash Bash

November 8th, 2022

The snake-haired Medusa (Amanda) whose hair moves when she walks!

The Annual Halloween Party at Points West Living Peace River was a repeat hit this year. On the menu were ‘fingers, worms in dirt, ghosts, spiders, and brains’! Ugh.

But everyone enjoyed themselves doing word searches, unscrambling Halloween words, playing bowling and passing the pumpkin (hot pumpkin). There were smiles and laughter from everyone.

The residents had put up all the treat bags for the kids one afternoon. So into the evening Employee Care Partner Jennelyn came in and helped residents pass out delicious candy to the young trick-or-treaters.

Everyone enjoyed seeing the smiles from the children in their costumes that included Pikachu, Paw Patrols, snowmen, witches, Chucky, cheerleaders, Scooby Doo, Catboy, aliens, dalmatians, Tinker Bell and more.

One of the outstanding costumes of the day was Amanda as Medusa. As she walked you could see the snakes moving in her hair! Employee Care Partner(s) Jocylyn came as a Hotdog, Amor and Aileen were Peanut Butter and Jam, Raquel was dressed as a tiger, and Maegan and Cathy were Thing 1 and Thing 2!
