Lloydminster kicks up heels at Eden party

Points West Living Lloydminster celebrated a year of great Eden Moments with a party on Nov 25th. To make the event a success, recreation aide Maggie Rauczynska and health care assistant Malou Abongan spared nothing to decorate the room “to the nines."

 To kick the festivities off general manager Sarah Walker gave a short  speech about the community’s Eden Journey and the importance of sharing experiences through Eden moment stories. 

The kitchen cooks prepared a feast of snacks; sushi, wings, dry ribs, spring rolls, fruit trays and red velvet cake. 

All the Eden stories from the year were showcased in the main area so that everyone could read and reminisce. 

Musical entertainment was enjoyed all afternoon thanks to performers Merle Tenney and Friend Kelly.

To everyone’s surprise, the residents enjoyed the music so much they were all up dancing and grooving and singing along. The smiles, the laughter and the great dance moves by both residents and care partners was a joy that hadn’t been seen in a while.
