Lloydminster celebrates National Lookalike Day

“You remind me of someone” or “You look just like someone I know.”

Have you heard these words before? No doubt you have.

Occasionally we may even recognize ourselves in another person whether they are family related or a stranger we spot on the street.That’s the spirit behind National Look Alike Day, observed on April 20th.

The day was created as a fun day to look and celebrate someone you look like or would like to resemble.

Children often choose an animal to represent them while adults often choose to emulate a famous person or celebrity.

From the staff to the residents, PWL Lloydminster community celebrated the day by wearing the same flowers in their hair as their ‘lookalikes.’
