Mother's Day Sweetened with Cakes and Cards

Residents and families at PWL Cold Lake were treated to a Mother's Day concert with traditional gospel music flavoured with Newfoundland rhythms from musicians Norman and Shirley Rice.
Volunteer and social work student Pam Cole joined residents to craft Mother's Day cards and every mom in each cottage received cake, cards and roses delivered at their doors.
