Clogging fascinates and entertains in Cold Lake

January 10th, 2024

Talented feet were in no shortage in Cold Lake. That’s because the Cold Lake Cloggers made a pre-Christmas stop at Points West Living Cold Lake, enthralling the attentive audience.

Following the leader’s voice, the dancers moved harmoniously to about half a dozen songs, accentuating the music’s rhythm by wearing wooden-soled shoes and bells on their ankles.

Roberta, one of the residents from Memory Care, was so engaged by the sound of the music and the movements that she began to dance in her chair.

“Residents enjoyed this show and are always looking forward to them coming to entertain us,” said Claudia Cupasachoa, Recreation Aide. “As a recreation aide coming from another country, I had never seen this type of dance before, and I was so impressed by their talent and coordination.”
